I find the variety of hues in trees after fires quite beautiful, though I have to admit I’m very attracted to disaster narratives; here is another. Perhaps it adds to my sense of control and offers power amidst the crazy and haphazard inattention man gives to life. Always believing there is a light on some imagined hill, a Nirvana to follow, Avalon around the corner, all the while paying no attention to that which can be grown through simple effort and focused hopes.
